About the Role
We’re looking for reliable and motivated people to join our seasonal fruit picking and packhouse team in New Zealand.
This opportunity is suitable for both freshers and experienced workers. Previous fruit picking or packing experience is not required where the advertised position permits it. Training and workplace instructions will be provided as applicable.
The role may involve working in orchards and packhouse facilities depending on operational requirements and the position offered.
Key Responsibilities
Picking fruit carefully and efficiently
Sorting and grading fruit
Packing and preparing fruit for distribution
Handling fruit and packing materials safely
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Working cooperatively with supervisors and team members
Performing other general orchard or packhouse duties as required
About You
Freshers can apply
Previous experience is helpful but not essential where the role allows
Reliable and punctual
Physically capable of performing the advertised duties
Willing to work outdoors and/or in a packhouse environment
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
Comfortable working as part of a team
